Vintage Mexican pottery redware bowl is Tlaquepaque in cream glaze with painted details in blue, green, yellow, sienna brown and black.
The name Tlaquepaque means the place where clay is found, it is a village within the city of Guadalajara where potters have worked for centuries. Wonderful, crimped pie edge is vibrant with color, central motif features an idyllic farm scene.
In great condition, one glaze skip inside of bowl and a few minor flea bites along edge do not detract from look.
Size measures: 8-1/4"Diameter x 2-1/4"H
