Vintage Mexican pottery Tlaquepaque redware large bowl in cream glaze with painted details in blue, green, yellow, sienna brown and black. The name Tlaquepaque means the place where clay is found, it is a village within the city of Guadalajara where potters have worked for centuries.
A wonderful, crimped pie edge is vibrant with color, central motif features a stylized idyllic farm scene. In great condition, minor flea bites along edge do not detract from look.
