Vintage Monterey style hurricane lamp is darling, and electric! This lovely little lamp has a hand painted white base with yellow and orange floral motif and green leaves on all four sides in classic Monterey style. The lamp's base is painted in both rust red and yellow, fitted with a metal handle and metal light shade housing, topped with a petite glass chimney.
In 1915 The Panama-California Exposition in San Diego gave Spanish Colonial Revival style national exposure and was embraced wholeheartedly in our own "Mediterranean" areas of California and Florida. This vintage lamp personifies the style and is a terrific and collectible specimen.
This vintage electric lamp has a turn-on switch located just above the curved metal handle. In excellent condition.
