Vintage Tlaquepaque redware large bowl in cream glaze with painted details in blue, green, brown and black. The name Tlaquepaque means the place where clay is found, it is a village within the city of Guadalajara where potters have worked for centuries. Nice, crimped pie edge has subtle color, central motif features stylized flora.
In great condition, small glaze skip inside bowl and a few minor flea bites along edge do not detract from look.
