Vintage "painting" on California Redwood. This California Redwoods souvenir is decidedly Mexican in theme with a smoking señor under a big sombrero with a serape thrown over one shoulder! The "painting" is done in relief on a backdrop of raw, striated redwood and is in a basic color scheme of cream, blue, red, black and brown. A vivid and charming piece, this vintage art wall hanging is a classic piece of California. Souvenirs like this one were popular in California through the 1950s. This vintage art piece is in terrific condition and hangs from a wire on the backside.
