Vintage doll in Native American motif. This Native American Indian doll is a vintage souvenir made by Carlson Dolls of Maple Lake Minnesota. These iconic dolls were primarily sold at tourist locations in the United States like our national parks from the 1940s-1990s.
The indian doll lady here is sharply dressed and totes her baby in its papoose upon her back. Adorned with a velvet outfit in black and purple, our indian doll also has a turquoise bead necklace. This lady indian doll has movable head and arms with stationary legs. The doll has soft woolen hair glued spun into a bun at the base of her head, and sleepy eyes which open and close.
