Native American original watercolor by Wyoming artist Linda Lucy Lunde. Lunde's western art series of Native American Indian watercolor portraits are stunning. This native man's face tells of wisdom and sorrow, the moon rising behind him tells of his inner strength. With ceremonial robe, this otherwise neutral piece has a central pop of color and dynamic movement. This original western art piece is unframed and on raw edge watercolor paper.
Size measures: 12"L x 14-1/4"W
Linda Lucy Lunde studied art at the University of California, Santa Barbara and at Northwest College. Her style was influenced greatly while she apprenticed under western artist, William Herring. This particular series of Native American portraits was no doubt influenced by her ex-husband, Native American artist Kevin Red Star.
