The Riviera shaped Homer Laughlin dishware just suits the Hacienda pattern, it's just delightful! The central scene is encircled with a bright red stripe and depicts an idyllic Mexicana adobe where pots and jugs, even a sombrero and sarape lead us to believe someone has just bellied up to the bar at the cantina! Cactus and flora help to make this charming setting just darling.
This set of 4 luncheon plates is in very good condition, with the exception of 2 plates each with a chip under the rim. The photographs prove that these chips are not visible because they do not mar the integrity of the top edge and are only visible when viewing the plate from the side. Neither of the 2 chips on this 80 year old set affect the look or function of these beauties!
