Fancy chainstitch embroidered vintage Rickrageous black Indian Chief gabardine shirt complete with brown piped edging along the collar, arrow chest pockets, pearl snaps and cuffs, a formal touch.
This beautifully ornate shirt mimics the suit Nudie Cohn famously made for Roy Rogers in the 1950s. The colorful chainstitching sports the Rickrageous signature individually set Swarovski iridescent crystal embellishments amongst the chainstitched scene. The jacket frontside is a symmetrical design with turquoise thunderbirds at the shoulders, graphic Native American elements line the body and the collar is specialized by arrows encircling the neck in set crystals that terminate in red arrowheads at each tip! The sleeves depict delightfully animated tomahawks along each side swirling in ties and feathers, the cuffs are stand out gorgeous with their blocks of rickrack and other such graphic elements. The backside of this amazing shirt is the full frontal gaze of much embellished Indian chief in full headdress and hundreds of sparkling crystals!
This one-of-a-kind shirt is a master work in chainstitching! Shirt is in terrific condition with subtle snag damage on the underside of one sleeve and at the underside of both cuffs (see pics). One crystal at the left side of the collar is missing.

Statement by original owner: Denise Strickland, regarding the process in creating these pieces:
"We start the creative process' by putting together a design that meets the specific vision of what the Client wants their piece to reflect. We then bring these designs to life using circa 1900's chain stitch embroidery machines. Once the embroidery is laid we then compliment the embroidery with Thousands of hand set Swarovski® crystals meticulously placed onto each piece in Tiffany settings."
