Studded vintage document box is ca. 1880s hair-on with the initials "BFW" on lid top. This document box is handsome and makes a classic western statement. The inside of the trunk is lined in book paper. The fancy brass tack studding on this box, and the vintage monogram on its lid, make it especially appealing.
This studded vintage document box is in overall good condition. A few of the original brass tacks are missing, one of the pair of iron handles is missing and the backside rawhide is split, but the integrity of the box has been maintained.
